Frequently Asked Questions

How do I best prepare for my Pilates and yoga classes?

We’re waiting for you in our cosy studio, and here’s how you can prepare for your class:

  • For Pilates only: Bring a pair of non-slip socks with you - though we have them available for sale in the studio in case you forget yours!

  • Bring a hand towel, as some people get quite warm while doing their Pilates/yoga workout.

  • Bring a water bottle as Pilates/yoga can be thirsty work - if you’ve got a water bottle, you can fill it at the studio or bring your own drinks.

  • Try not to eat in the hour before your class.

  • Please arrive five minutes before your class so you can put on your socks, switch your phone to silent and be ready to go..

How do I best prepare for my gong bath class?

  • Comfort is key to relaxation! Hence please come in comfortable clothing.

  • Class etiquette:

    • Be on time. Latecomers not be allowed entry as this will disrupt the overall experience for others.

For any other weather signal, classes will go ahead in line with our cancellation policy.

Are there any physical conditions that are not suitable for Pilates?

Whilst we strongly believe that Pilates is for every body, there are certain populations with conditions where a Group class format may not be suitable. This includes people with motion sickness, people recovering from injuries which impacts their mobility, advanced pregnancy, any physical conditions which limits general mobility. For these cases, we would recommend Private classes instead.

Do you have shower facilities at the studio?

Unfortunately we do not have shower facilities at the studio.
